scenes major devastation, people driving at speeds in excess of 5mph in places. twigs (yes, TWIGS) on some roads. conditions bordering on treacherous. be careful on the way home tonight. in fact, dont go home unless it is unavoidable. inform friends and relatives of ETA if you have to. take a small brush to remove large twigs.
