I was out for a drink with someone the other night who asserted that everyone who works for the state is a parasite and a w@nker who does nothing useful.

This particular recent Tory press compaign has been amazingly effective, I think. Seems to have really seeped into people's consciousness.

Obv not necessarily yours, Tombs - you may have always though so. More generally though - don't think even a year or two ago people had such a negative view of public sector workers. Seems v prevalent now.
