Exactly. I do observe it, but don't wear a poppy, as while I

remember those who died for a ridiculously misplaced sense of patriotism in WW1, and gave their lives in the direct defence of their country in WW2 (and one could possibly also include the Falklands in that), I do not wish to support the current occupations.

I liked the idea of the white poppy.
