You hate it, don't you Trickster? Every fibre of your being loathes the Conservatives being in power, even in coalition. I can only console you with the thought that by the time you get to my age you don't really care any more.

Anyway, to the matter in hand. I read somewhere by permanently employing one bloke for ?x, they stop hiring in outside contractors to do the same thing for ?y, and ?x is less than ?y. If that is true then it seems very sensible.

I personally would rather we had more photos of politicians like this one
