they were bottom after 5 games with players like holland, ambrose, hreidersson, bent, bramble etc - i.e. he wasn;t getting the best out of his players.

Burley is clearly a great manager (just look at his records anywheere) but he got to a point where he couldn't get the best out of a certain unit anymore- just as worthy can't now.
