down in flames, but is what he says to the press really what he thinks? I hope not. HE is the manager, an international defender who has had an entire season to construct a defence slightly tougher than the skin on a rice pud. And failed.
Too many signings that have not seemed motivated or able to produce anything approaching their reputations, too defensive (with no defence) and a rabbit in the headlights when recruiting the players we needed ( Ashton an enormous exception).
Worthy HAS done a great job in getting us up and so close to staying up; but i just feel he COULD have kept us us, but chocked it. I think next season will be the thoughest he's ever had - i hope i wrong! OTBC
