there's no way hose A that a national DIY store would dole out that advice. maybe there was nobody in the store that was trained on the machine so the bloke at works brother thought, "f**k it, i'll buy a saw and sort it myself in the carpark" and then made the whole unlikely yarn up after he'd lopped off his thumb.
