Just back from training

Finished early today, presumably as they are flying down to Cardiff this pm.

Last week I noted MacNamee and Fox were practising free kicks at the end of the session. I thought this unusual but hadn't guessed they would both be playing.

Nelson doing more intensive training but not with the main squad. Whitbread (calf) and Surman doing running and light fitness work. ZW (calf) told a young autograph collector he should be playing again in 2 to 3 weeks.

One of the stars of last week was not at training and presumably won't play tomorrow. Capello will be able to have a saturday afternoon not listening out for the telephone.

Horse is donkey of the week.
