Thursday Night Football!!!

I'm sure we've played on Thursdays plenty of times in the past, when you consider boxing day fixtures, and in the way distant past, even christmas day.

But for a 'normal' week, I can only ever remember 1 thursday game in the past, that was Stockport away during the play-off season which we lost, 2 or 3-1 i think. Bloody Carlton Palmer scored for them.

It was live on ITV Digital, and when they went bust, that match was used to highlight why ITV D went down the pan. They said something like, it would have been cheaper to have given every paying viewer 1st class train ticket and expensive match ticket to the game, together with a plush hotel overnight stay, than it was for ITV D to pay the rights for that 'classic' match!

Anyone remember?
