That's going to be costing them a few quid. Maybe.

I suppose the discussions may have been around whether 1:15 on a bank holiday would attract more trouble than 7:45 on a work day night.

Personally I think the 1:15 would have given the 'flatter' atmosphere.

Strikes me though that this may be a case of Town recognising that crowds are down, atmosphere is poor, and bargaining to get a good old fashioned floodlight derby on, with the atmosphere these usually generate.
If that's the case, they'll be paying a bit of Police force overtime.
