If so, he would be using 'laconic' correctly but I've no Idea why that would be relevant to their playing.

To answer your question though I would prefer kids to use words correctly.

(I knew an 8 year old who'd learnt the word 'ambivalent'. She used it at every opportunity. It was quite sweet really!)
