A long a beery day out

Not a huge amount to shout about on the pitch so I?ll start with a couple of mentions. Got a talking to from Camcan after having ignored her at Ashton Gate, bumped into Charlie Wyatt in the Nelson and said a quick hello to the new NCISA Chairman.

I was a little worried about the selections but as usual Lambert knows best,

As regards the 90 minutes, it was a funny old game Brian. I decamped to my position by the TV at half time not sure if we had played well or badly or whether Boro had played badly or well. The consensus of opinion was that we?d been effective and Boro had been pretty. I was cheering prematurely when we hit the post and less so when we scored as I thought the one-eyed ref would disallow the goal.

Second half I though we defended brilliantly, no saves for Ruddy to make though they did have a very good chance at the end.

My MoM was Ward or Barnett. It was exactly what we needed today, a solid display, three points and job done.
