Thoughts on last night

Ruddy 6 - didnt command the area, no chance with first, ducked under the 2nd (but was point blank), made a good save mid 2nd half
Martin R 6 - got forward well, no end product
Askooooo 5 - poor heading across the box, gave ball away alot
Barnett 7 - looks good, plz sign him
Smith S 3 - beaten nearly every time by his man, then jogged about
Smith K 6.5 - couldnt really get into the game going forward but tracked back well
KOS 7 - not great technically but good hard work and got assist
Hoolahan 6.5 - marked out of game, every time he got ball 3 palace players pressed him
Crofts 9 - first rate, won everything, good passing
Holt 6 - scored, no other shots to note
Jacko 5 - didnt really do it for me, good early shot off bar, then faded out of the game

macnamee 6 - looked bright but didnt get enough of the ball
martin c 4 - looked slow and poor
oli J - not enough time to get into the game

had a good view of the game sitting on the half way line in the jarrold for once.

Crowd were poor, very quiet from start to finish for 25k.

Not enough attacking flair for my liking. We lack a huckerbyesque style player. Crofts is brillo pads. Really really cant emphasize how impressed I was with him. Would have liked us to change tactics earlier as it was clear something needed doing from the 55th minute.

Edgar Davids lol, never thought I'd see him play at carrow road. He was slow and old. had a good pass, but was beaten to the ball by Korey every time.
