I may be in a minority, but I really enjoy Stuart Hall, because he's so idiosyncratic

You recognise him immediately on hearing him, and his reportage studiously avoids cliches or any of (say) Peter Drury's ham-fisted grasps at epoch-defining phrases. I wish there were more football commentators like him.

(And less like Alan Green. Frankly one is too many.)
