Very odd that the Texan court adjourned its proceedings yesterday to 7am local today

That is truly bizarre

You do get some oddballs in the southern US states. I once went to a big confab in Boston where a client with a global problem had summoned its lawyers from all over to hammer out a common solution. All the US lawyers took the piss constantly out of the guy from Louisiana, who said with a big grin "In Louisiana, we got the finest judges money can buy"
