...though it should be a blessing I cannot log in to anything that needs my email address as a username (other than my email)...

Is this because the Italians do not follow the 'correct' protocol on their keyboard and insist on me pressing a different key for the '@' symbol?..

Weirdness...on the other hand Florence is amazing...
