there was a suggestion they might've come to an agreement out on course

with Cav not wanting to pull to get back on to the leaders' wheel once Millar and the others had got away - dunno really though the Beeb cutting cutting on and out with their coverage of the race.

iirc earlier on the last lap Cav was doing a lot to get himself back on when Millar came up from behind, with 2 or 3 others, and joined Cav's little group(?), and then i guess Millar might've done most of the work to bring that group back up to the leaders
