Anyone think the victory parade is OTT

I'm delighted we won the Ashes but it seems a little OTT considering it was a two horse race and we were at home. Its basically an acknowledgement that we were hopeless at cricket for 16 years but now have a good team - not sure that justifies 1m people in the streets of London
