Just back from the match . . .

Jackson was really good today. Took his goals really well and his speed caused problems all afternoon. His pace gives us an added dimension, especially away from home, that we don't get with Holt and Martin.
What is wrong with Holt? Had a poor match. He keeps falling over and trying to win free kicks when he should be keeping possesion and bringing players into the game.
But for me, the most improved players are Lappin, Crofts and Wes. Lappin was all energy, tackling and getting forward. He and Crofts put in a big shift today. Wes, although infuriating when he tries the difficult pass rather than the simple one, now works his socks off and gets back to help out more in midfield.
I hope this kick-starts Jackson's season as he looked a real handful today.
