^^^ Another vote for the Desire from me

Got it a few months ago, if you like being able to mess with your phone and having the ability to change EVERYTHING on it and set it up EXACTLY how you want it, then you will love the Desire. Had an iphone 4 and the limitations on it is laughable.

BTW, an HTC Desire HD is coming out soon (but it's not that much of a step up) I expect if you mention this to wherever (if) you buy it from, you would be able to get the price down a lot.
