sadly i don't think Labour would've coped much better if they'd won

(or managed to form a coalition with the Lib Dems).

Country's f**ked, would've been f**ked regardless of which of the 2 (or 3) was in charge at the time it all went tits up n'all, the degree of f**ked might've varied, but only minimally.

still, at least Labour will never have to make all these really tough decisions about where their own savage cuts were to come from, now if they could just stop trying to out-tory the tories when it comes to welfare, prisons, immigration, 'terrorism' etc they might start getting somewhere.
