Back in the Capital after another win

A few random observations from the game

Korey was deservedly MoM today, Drury would have been my second choice.

Holty seems to be struggling still, probably through lack of a good pre-season.

Cynical cynical Barnsley. Just like Swansea they were experts at falling over, but the Barnsley players stayed down that bit longer and more often.

Thought we were average first half, but Barnsley just tried to nullify the game, and cancel us out.

Shackell played well and we scored our equaliser when he was off. Well done to the ref (and he didn’t have a good game) in getting him off the pitch.

Though Robins missed a trick in the second half when McNamee came on. We started playing with more width but Barnsley left McNamee one-on-one quite a few times and most of our dangerous play was via him.

Even though we sit in the River End Upper in the middle near the front I’ve still no idea how our equaliser went in.

That Leon Barnett – he doesn’t often take two touches does he? A very solid defender.
