a mini rant at samba de janeiro, (not the usual one though)....

i give in!

i accept that the club are hell bent on playing that f**king load of annoying s**te after every single home goal and no amount of moaning about it from me or anyone else is going to change a thing.

i am not about to follow the mantra of "if you can't beat them join them" though and start mindlessly clapping like a performing imbecilic circus seal and clap along as the emotion is sucked out of the euphoria of overturning a one nil deficit in the dying knocks of a game.

i will just have to accept it, as much as i hate it. we have to cater to the masses after all.

what i really f**king abhor though, is that after the final whistle went and i reeeeeeeealllly wanted to show my appreciation of the team and suck up the moment, that f**king samba de janeiro f**king bollocks came on at full tilt and FUCKING RUINED THE MOMENT.

i have given up on the crass 3-2-1 mongalong OTBC (its for the kids!!!!)... *ok*

i have given up on properly ever celebrating a ncfc goal again and enjoying the spontaneous joy of an ecstatic crowd in full voice because of the s**t stadium music.

but please, please ncfc dont do it immediately on the final whistle. you are sucking the very passion out of the experience.
