Something that's always annoyed me...

and has been repeated a lot this evening is the thing about W Ham being unlucky to go down with 42 points when in other seasons that would have been enough to stay up. But the point is that it's not the number of points you have, it's that you are in the bottom three and therefore inferior to the other clubs. It is not a cross-season competition. Thank you - I feel better now.
