Right as their seems to be some people around a techy question

regarding Linux and video cards

Installed Ubuntu on my desk top PC which has ATI Radeon HD4350 video card but no matter what screen resolution i have the top and the bottom of the screen are just to big for the monitor
You can see the buttons to click on them to lauch applications but can't see all of them can any body help

I'm using a hitachi 26" TV as a monitor

Don't have the same problem with my laptop which is running linux as well
