Did the job soundly last time round largely as a result of his long-standing partnership with Malky McKay. Nigel Worthington foolishly saw fit to break up that arrangement - one of two monumental errors of judgement which cost the club dear. If Malky was not deemed good enough, Fleming should have followed suit. QED - a dismal, wretched season which, in retrospect, I hated more than any other I've followed in 30 years of support.
