I like DIY, job to do, do it, its done, sense of achievement

With gardening you spend flippin ages on something, then have to go back to the sodding thing in a months time.

Time Sink. Time that could be much better spent being frittered away on pointless pursuits!

That said I do like the look of a nice tidy garden with well trimmed bush.
