Nov 11 - big loss; recruitment of better players required high investment; capital expenditure (those lovely empty seats), recession affected income streams

Nov 12 - massive profit & debt cleared, thanks to promotion to Prem Lge and a multilateral agreement that all footballers take a 50 per cent wage cut.
