because last season had a massive cut in income from TV monies alone

so a £3m loss last season is no indication that we're going to make a £3m loss again this season

factor into that any promotion bonuses that might be due/relegation wage reductions too, changes in sponsorship monies that can be commanded due to being in a lower division etc

it's just not a like for like comparison
