but standing up at the AGM in Jan 2011 and saying "why did you spend 70 per cent of income on player wages in the year beginning July 2009" (for example) is rather pointless (and is very easy for an ill-intentioned Board of directors to sidestep.)

Our implosion under Chase might have been avoided if the warning signs had not been ignored.
