What a load of sensationalist bollocks.
Such an obvious attempt to whip up support by suggesting the bbc are taking money out of peoples pockets to waste on nothing.

The Stig is their intellectual property, and that quote has done nothing but make them appear every inch the 'chancers' they are being labelled as.

The Stig only interests viewers of Top Gear (which I am not) and only because he is unknown.
