Agreed.

Personally I don't put myself into the believer-atheist spectrum at all - I prefer to say that I live without God and without religion.

This (I hope) allows me to see that not all Christians use their faith to pursue a right-wing agenda, and not all atheists deny all religious people the right to their faith - but in some cases, both sides do these things (and they tend to be the most vocal).
