And I don't like the way the media have decided it's a noble homecoming. Man City may well have stopped him from going to a rival club, but from what I've read they were prepared to let him go to a Fulham or equivalent, and to spurn that in favour of Championship football shows a total lack of ambition. As you say he's obviously at the top of his game - if playing in front of his home crowd was so important to him, wait a year or two till his legs really are going. Hurumph.
