'He was a script' suggests you think he was doing more than putting on an act.

It implies that you believe he was placed by someone who, as you put it, wrote a script. Try and be a little less ambiguous with your language - it may lead posters to believe you are saying one thing and meaning another and we wouldn't want that now would we? Oh and I said 'after' not 'for'. Read the posts properly - there's a difference and, again, confusion can be avoided.
