Good news everyone - I've found a way to end gay-offs on the Wrath forever.
Thanks to the magic of the Interwebs, I've created a new forum purely for gay-offs. Whenever you see a thread on here that looks like it's heading for a gay-off, direct the participants here - there are categories for any type of gay-off.
