Agreed with Trident. Who, exactly are we deterring with it?

Russia? France? the Yanks?

None of the Nations with these weapons will every use them against us.
If they do, then who cares? We'll have more to worry about than the fact we hit them back.

Does it deter those without them?
Considering the goings on in North Korea and Iran I don't think so, in fact they are more 'encouragements' than 'deterrents'.
