Football is a bit thin is it not?

Don't get me wrong it can stir the raw emotions in me (well, it used to do so) in a unique way. But it's hardly the epitome of cultural attainment. The essence of it that used to be so attractive, so intoxicating, has now been so badly debased that it has almost become an object of derision. I simply don't like it that much anymore. And, I don't think that I have changed.
