There is a difference between refs who make the odd mistake, and others who are just plainly crap.

Like you said, he was just shocking for both, which is why he is reffing in the Championship, and was in league one and two last season.

It shouldn't be like that, but it is. Then again that wasn't what this thread was talking about, it was implied that Scholes didn't get booked because it was against Man U, which imo isn't correct.
