Early days, I know, but heavy is always heavy

The first one, he was beaten on a narrow near post, dropping like a piano as it went by. The second, fair enough, was a cracking goal. The third one, after seeing it four or five times, I began to stop blaming him for it, but he did seem to go down in instalments.

No, the flap was the scary thing for me. It looped towards goal, he reacted, got both hands to it (if I remember rightly, which I probably don't) and limply flapped it straight at their guy, just a few yards away. Have we got time to coach that out of him? Maybe, like the back four, he needs a couple of confidence boosters.

He was good in the air, though.
