Even against Newcastle he wasn't overly convincing.
Forster had a presence about him. When people face him in one on ones you fancied Forster to come out on top nearly every time. With Ruddy I don't have faith in a backpass being cleared without being sliced, or anything.
Keepers get it rough though like this. If they make a mistake it's not forgotten for a long, long time, and takes a long time for the team/fans to get confidence in him again. He has to make a significant improvement in the next couple of games. If he does then great! I'm just saying from the three games I've seen so far the only positive part of his game has been how he deals with crosses and when he throws it out quickly he's pretty damn accurate.
