Subs warming up

I always thought that subs had to warm up along the same stretch of touchline that the lino runs , the reason being that the other lino despite the players wearing training tops could be confused when looking along the line and give offside

Last night and in the Southampton game currently on Sky the subs warmed up long the touch line the lino doesn't run along
