Askou is currently still 4th choice CB.

Unless we have a run of injuries at CB (ala Doc last year) I dont think Lambert sees him as having much of a future at the club.

Lots of other players have kids yet take part in virtually every match while taking minimal time off.

The fact Lambert didnt care if he played in the pre-season games or cared if he trained in germany tells a bigger story.
