I think it depends on where you work..

there is a stand at the end of my road, but there isn't one anywhere near where I work.

£45 for a year's access is good though, especially when you don't have to worry about servicing them, your bike getting nicked etc.

I think you're right though, it will mostly be tourists pootling about on them getting in the way.
