It's not a big place. There's the new part and the old town.

The new town is just sprawl with nothing remarkable. The old part of town is up on top of the hill. Luckily they've built escalators to take you up there as it's pretty steep. Once in the old town it's a maze of tiny streets and hidden squares. There are some beautiful views from the hills just behind the town if you follow the signs to the "mirador".

Madrid is just an hour or so away as well, which I think is a great place to visit.
