Anyone heard of or used "Agoda" for booking hotels etc

just been looking at a city break to Venice in October and the Agoda website is far cheaper than the actual hotels website. Is this normal? or is it dodgy?

Never used them; but it's not uncommon to find better deals than the actual hotel
