Beckham has never been anything other than a hard working footballer with considerable ability who has given his all to every team he has played for. He sets a fantastic example to young players and, actually, is relatively humble. He also has an awareness of his good fortune and what he can give back. Compared to the feckless t**ts who populate the Prem these days, he's one of the last footballers I'd be calling a dick.
