Are you sure it's not one of the Norton suites that does a lot more than AV? If so abandoning it for a free AV could leave them exposed elsewhere.
Isn't it interesting to note that Tony M still managed to get four trojans while using free AVG? Dunno about Malware Bytes but if all of a sudden one needs to hunt around for several different utilities perhaps ?60 is money well spent (although I'm not suggesting that Norton is the best AV and I don't know what one gets for ?60 - a years subscription?)
(CCleaner is OK; but it'll do nothing to stop or clean up malware)
