Any news on the octopus?

How on earth did it manage to predict scores with such accuracy?

I remember an episode of George and Mildred in which a budgie picked out horse-racing winners.

Does anyone else have any similar stories about pets selecting sporting winners or do wrathers think that this is just fanciful nonsense?
