it's only a cat 2 at the end of today, and there's about 4k of plateau at the top

i don't think today is a day for big attacks from the GC contenders so no reason for either Cancellara or Thomas to have to sacrifice themselves keeping their teamleaders up there only to then lose minutes just surviving up the final climb

having said that the cobbles have given some unusual time gaps already...

hmm...

so no idea really! :-)
