I don't agree with Wenger over this, it's his own fault of evolving and signing on

smaller players

He doesn't, or hasn't cared when players past or present have gone over the top in matches

Van Persie
Fabregas add a lot more to that list

Just like the ball thing at the world cup, he latched onto a random pattern of events one year and just blubbed endlessly in the media
